Dr. Disrespect is one of the most popular and well-known Twitch streamers. He is known for his bombastic and outspoken online persona, as well as his drama with the Twitch platform. The Doc is best known for his work on multiplayer first-person shooter games like “Warzone” and “Rogue Company,” but he also avoids single-player games without a competitive element. However, some games are simply too big to miss, even if they aren’t necessarily in your ballpark.
FromSoftware’s “Elden Ring,” for example, has completely dominated much of the gaming conversation since its release at the end of February. Hardcore and casual gamers alike have been drawn to the critically acclaimed and notoriously difficult action-adventure RPG. Dr. Disrespect’s interest was piqued by the title, so he decided to give it a shot — and he didn’t like it at first (per Dexerto). He’s warmed up to the FromSoftware title since that initial negative impression, even proclaiming himself the “best ‘Elden Ring’ player of all time.” However, he still has one major issue with the game.
Dr Disrespect was not a fan of “Elden Ring” after his first playthrough. In fact, he gave the game a 6/10 critical rating, praising the game’s grinding mechanics and “terrible” camera function. After leveling up his character and playing more of the game, it appears that the Doc has come to appreciate the appeal of “Elden Ring,” a game that many consider being near-perfect. The Two-Time Champion, on the other hand, isn’t ready to lavish praise on the game. Doc might like the game more if it fixed its camera system, which is currently his biggest complaint about it.
Dr Disrespect admitted that he had no idea how FromSoftware could fix the camera issue, especially since the game had already been released, and that designing a third-person camera was a difficult task. Ultimately, he now gives the game an “8.8” to a “8.9” out of ten, indicating that his affection for “Elden Ring” has grown considerably.
