After one player complained about FFXIV being less casual-friendly than WoW, Twitch star Asmongold called out World of Warcraft players.
Asmongold was browsing his own subreddit when he came across a complaint about Final Fantasy XIV Online from a World of Warcraft player.
The post asked of FFXIV MSG felt too difficult for WoW players and despite the fact that Asmongold suspected the post was a troll, he decided to go with it and blast WoW players along the way.
Asmongold was live on his secondary channel, zackrawrr, when he read the Reddit post aloud and responded. He claims that FFXIV is not as casual-friendly as WoW, and that it is even less so. He went on to mock the “troll,” claiming that there are people who don’t understand WoW players and that some are genuinely so bad that they are willing to do anything that is too difficult.
Asmongold went on to point out a significant difference between the WoW and FFXIV player bases, concluding that in FFXIV, there is both an expectation of the individual and an exception of the group.
