ANGRYPUG is an entertainment streamer who primarily plays horror, fps and social deduction games. He has been around since early 2014 and has developed a reputation for getting very invested in his gameplay. We have compiled an overview of the peripherals that he uses to enhance his overall broadcast and gaming quality below.
WHAT MOUSE DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. ANGRYPUG’s gaming setup features one of the more popular gaming mice among streamers, with other owners including Nickmercs, Danucd and Dyrus, to name a few. The newer model is integrated with a Hero 25K sensor that provides a range of 100-25,600 DPI. This can be set in increments of 50, with the potential to store up to 6 profiles directly onboard the device. It offers a maximum acceleration of 40G at a maximum speed of 200IPS, and also offers polling rate options of 125, 250, 500 and 1,000Hz that can also be toggled between directly on the mouse.
Furthermore, it has a fairly lightweight construction, coming in at just 79g (2.7oz.) Additionally, it has a truly ambidextrous design, not only in terms of its shape, but also due to its coming with two sets of two side buttons that can be set to both or either sider of the mouse. This gives the possibility for up to eight programable buttons, which can then store up to five macro profiles. It is also LIGHTSYNC RGB-compatible.
WHAT KEYBOARD DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses a Logitech G Pro keyboard. The Logitech G Pro is a gaming keyboard with a tenkeyless design so as to save the user some desk space. It is constructed from plastic chassis on a steel backplate that is soldered with GX Blue switches and with removable ABS keycaps on top. The switches give a Clicky feedback and have an actuation point of 2mm that operate at a force of 50G for a total travel distance of 3.7mm.
The F-keys can be programmed with macros through the Logitech G HUB software, as can the LIGHTSYNC RGB backlighting. The software also offers preset profiles for over 580 games. It measures 3.4 x 36.1 x 15.3cm (14.96 x 1.97 x 6.3”) and weighs 980g (2.16lbs.) Furthermore, its base provides 30° -angle adjustment and rubber feet to improve the user’s comfort and to prevent it from slipping during gameplays. It is compatible with macOS 10.10 and later, as well as Windows 7 and later.
WHAT HEADSET DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses the ASTRO Gaming A40 TR headset. The ASTRO Gaming A40 TR is a wired headset whose earcups are fitted with 40mm Open Transducer drivers that allow for a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz with a nominal impedance of 50Ω, a sensitivity of 104dB and distortion THD of less than 0.1%. The over-ear earcups have leatherette-covered earpads and semi-closed backs. These, as well as the tags on the headband, can be swapped out with purchasable mod kits. These kits allow the user to change the headset into closed or open-backed earcups whenever they wish.
Additionally, it features a 6mm microphone with a cardioid polar-pattern. It can be either flipped-up to removed when not being used. and detachable, although it can also be flipped up. The headband is also padded and is adjustable. It is constructed from plastic and weighs 363g (12.8oz).
WHAT MICROPHONE DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses an Audio-Technica AT2020 microphone. ANGRYPUG’s gaming setup includes the XLR version of the AT2020 condenser microphone. It is constructed from metal for durability and has a speckled black finish. It has a cardioid polar pattern that operates at a side-address. This reduced the possibility of unwanted background noises from filtering into the recording. It has a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz, a nominal impedance of 100Ω and a sensitivity of -37dB. It has no inline controls.
It comes with a stand mount for 5/8″-27 threaded stands; 5/8″-27 to 3/8″-16 threaded adapter; soft protective pouch. However, you will need to provide your own XLR cable, as well as a 48V phantom power-compatible audio interface.
WHAT WEBCAM DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses a Logitech BRIO webcam. The Logitech BRIO is a plug-and-play webcam that offers some features that are more advanced than those typically found in a basic webcam. This includes its recording options of 4K at 30fps, 1080p at either 30or 60fps and 720p at either 30, 60 and 90fps, as well as its field of view options of 65°, 78°, and 90°. It also affords RightLight 3 + HDR light correction, and up to 5x HD zoom. It also has a privacy shutter and two omnidirectional microphones.
WHAT MIXER DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses a TC Helicon GoXLR mixer. The TC-Helicon is probably one of the mixers most commonly found among broadcasters and is also used by Sommerset, TimTheTatman and DrLupo. It is a solo recording device that offers channels for Mic, Music, Chat and System. Each channel has its own dedicated volume slider and mute button. It is capable of providing 48V+ of phantom power and can connect one XLR or one TS/TRS/TRRS microphone and one headset to be connected at a time. It can also has a slider that can give the microphone up to 70dB of gain. All of this is on the left side of the device.
The right side is dedicated to effects and on-the-fly damage controls. The top portion has pre-set effect options such as gender-bending and robot, as well as six other customizable buttons. These, as well as the RGB lighting effects, can be set through its software. The bottom portion is then divided into a sample section on the left that can store prerecorded sounds for on-the-fly live effects, while the bottom right corner has a mute button and bleep button.
WHAT CHAIR DOES ANGRYPUG USE?
ANGRYPUG uses an AKRacing Masters Series Max chair. ANGRYPUG was sponsored the blue version of this gaming chair. It offers a great deal of adjustability, including armrests that can be moved up and down, back and forth, in and out, as well as rotated to the sides. It can also tilt, lock and even recline up to 180°. The tilt angle can be locked. It has a durable construction comprising of a high-tensile aluminum 5-arm base with 6.4cm (2.5”) casters, metal frame with anti-corrosive powder coating and leatherette-covered high density mould shaping foaming. Its height is adjustable with a Hydraulic gas lift. Furthermore, it comes with a lumbar pillow and headrest pillow, both of which are XL.
