VoyBoy mainly streams LoL, although he does occasionally play other strategy games such as Chess and TeamFight Tactics. VoyBoy is known for being one of the original League of Legends Season 1 pros, even having been in the inaugural Team Dignitas LoL roster alongside other well-known players Scarra, Jatt, L0cust and Imaqtpie. Although he retired from professional esports in 2014 to pursue fulltime content creation, he is still recognized for his high level. He is also known for occasionally co-streaming with the Offline.TV crew members, as well as other streamers.

 

 

WHAT MOUSE DOES VOYBOY USE?

VoyBoy uses a Corsair M55 RGB PRO mouse. The M55 is a wired gaming mouse that is specifically designed for fps and MOBA gaming. Its Pixart 3327 optical sensor has a DPI range of 200 – 12,000 that can be adjusted through the Corsair iCUE software. There are three dpi levels that can be set on the DPI button that is located below the scroll wheel. There are also four report rate options available, namely 125, 250, 500 and 1000Hz.

As part of its ambidextrous design, the M55 comes with eight programable buttons, two of which are located on either side of the mouse. Similarly, the user can also program the mouse’s right and left clickers to swap, in order to make gaming more comfortable for left-handed users. The mouse buttons use Omron switches that can last for up to 50 million clicks.

It has dimensions of 12.45 x 5.72 x 3.99 cm (4.9 x 2.25 x 1.57”) and a weight of 86g (3.04oz), excluding the cable. The braided cable itself is 1.8m (70.87”) long.

 WHAT MOUSEPAD DOES VOYBOY USE?

VoyBoy uses a Corsair MM800 Polaris RGB PRO mousepad. The M800 Polaris is an RGB mousepad with dimensions of 35cm x 2.6cm x 0.5cm  (13.8 x 10.2 x 0.2”) and a weight of 567g (1.25lbs). It is constructed from a hard, non-slip plastic material and has 15 programmable RGB zones for a greater selection of RGB options. It also features a pass through filter for your mouse, in addition to acting as an automatic charging station for compatible wireless Corsair mice such as the Dark Core SE.

WHAT KEYBOARD DOES VOYBOY USE?

VoyBoy’s gaming setup includes the Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM XT keyboard with brown switches. The Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM XT is a wired keyboard that is constructed from precision molded plastic to be 1.5mm think and to look and feel like metal. It utilizes 104/105 PBT double-shot keycaps and Cherry Mx Brown switches, although there are also blue and silver options available. The actuation point is at 2mm with a travel distance of 4mm and an actuation force of 50g.

The RGB backlighting can be set on a per-key basis and there is also a 19-zone LightEdge across the top of the keyboard. There is also a pass-through port for a mouse or headset, as well as a media control panel and volume control wheel in the top right corner.

The wrist rest is made of a textured cushioned leatherette material and is detachable. There are six dedicated macro G-keys located in a column on the left of the keyboard, offering the potential for up to eight profiles to be stored directly onboard.

WHAT HEADSET DOES VOYBOY USE?

VoyBoy uses a CORSAIR VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless headset. The Corsair Virtuoso RGB is a wireless headset that had closed-backed earcups with RGB lighting. They offer a 7.1 surround sound experiences with a frequency response range of 20hz-40,000Hz, a sensitivity of 109dB (+/-3dB), and a nominal impedance of 32 Ohms @ 2.5kHz.

The adjustable headband is constructed from aluminum, while the earcups are padded with a leatherette fabric that surrounds memory foam cushioning. One of the earcups also has a volume wheel and microphone mute button on it, while the other earcup boasts input ports for USB to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C plugs.

The detachable microphone is omnidirectional and has a frequency response range of 100 – 20,000Hz and a sensitivity of -40dB (+/-3dB). This headset is compatible with PC and PS4 and weigh ~358g (0.79lbs).

VoyBoy’s streaming setup includes the Elgato Wave:3 microphone. VoyBoy’s gaming setup includes an Elgato Wave:3 condenser microphone. It utilizes a cardioid polar pattern and is designed specifically for streaming, recording and podcasting purposes. It has a frequency response range of 70 – 20,000Hz , a sensitivity of a minimum of -25dBFS and a maximum of 15dBFS, supports up to 24-bit/96kHz. Its dynamic range is at 95dB and it has a maximum SPL of 120dB.

This mic can also mute copyrighted music in your stream, so that you can listen to whatever you’d like without worrying about infringement issues cropping up later. It also allows for two separate output mixes to be created and adjusted on-the-fly, so that you will be able to retain one recording for yourself, while providing the audience with a different output.

There is a capacitive mute button on its front. It also comes with an external pop-filter, shock mount, flat-based desk stand with a U-shaped mount and a multi adapter that can accommodate mounts of 5/8-> 3/8 – 1/4-inch. It uses a USB Type-C cable. It requires either Windows 10 with 64-bit or macOS 10.15 or later.
