Amouranth has opened up about her experience with a stalker who is extremely devoted.

Amouranth, a Twitch streamer, has been publicly tweeting since June 7th about an alleged stalker who has been following her online and in person since May 8th. Amouranth had previously stated that in order to deal with the threat, she had installed a security system and hired an armed employee to live in her guest quarters. After the stalker was allegedly arrested after attempting to break into her home, she has now spoken out about the entire ordeal.

Amouranth details how this stalker had been streaming “every minute of his excursion” on Twitch, with the platform seemingly doing little to help other than taking his account down, in a lengthy thread on her personal Twitter account. The stalker, on the other hand, allegedly set up a new account to continue streaming his stalking, and claimed in one of his streams that he sold everything he owned to move from Estonia to the state where Amouranth is based, including his house, car, and even his cat.

The only possessions this stalker had were the clothes on his back, a saxophone with a case, and a set of formal clothing, according to Amouranth. She explains that the stalker had streamed himself walking to her house dressed up, saxophone case in hand, and cased her house for a full 30 minutes before the break-in attempt. Amouranth called the police after attempting to break in, but she claims dispatch was rude, frequently put her on hold, and took 33 minutes to arrive at her home.

The story has a slightly happy ending, but it comes at the cost of a great deal of stress and fear on Amouranth’s part. The stalker was detained by the police, she claims at the end of her Twitter thread, and the Estonian embassy has been contacted. The stalker has also left Houston, Texas, where Amouranth is based, but admits that’s all she knows for now.
