FaZe Clan found itself in the middle of its own cryptocurrency scam scandal just a couple of weeks ago. The co-owner of the organization Ricky Banks AKA FaZe Banks paid one of the victims of the crypto scam over $10,000 in NFT assets and Ethereum.

Last July 1st, FaZe Clan revealed that they permanently removed Kay and suspended three of their clan Niknam, Jarvis, and Teeqo following the crypto scam allegations. So far, only Kay has spoken and released a statement publicly regarding the said issue and explained that he is going through the legal proceedings.

The esports organization FaZe Clan is not directly involved but still gets some criticism. While FaZe Banks says that someday they will still consider the three streamers related to the said scam.

He recently shared about his love for blockchain tech, crypto space, and NFTs. He even helped the CEO of 100 Thieves Matthew Haag AKA Nadeshot pick out his $73k CryptoPunk ‘TheThief’. One collector posted on Twitter that he got scammed and FaZe Banks decided to help him out and lend a helping hand. He responds to the collector’s tweet saying that’s super unfortunate and since he is following him, he himself will restore balance in his wallet and transfer everything that the scammer promised him.

FaZe Banks transferred six Ethereum at that time which would’ve been equal to around $11,000. The collector was delighted by Banks’ help and decided to host an NFT giveaway to give back and celebrated FaZe Banks’ act of kindness.
