IronMouse now ranks third among Twitch channels with the most active subscribers, which is an incredible achievement.
Twitch streamers are increasingly participating in Subathons. On Twitch, it essentially consists of broadcasting days, if not weeks, of content, with the duration of the broadcast being extended by donations and channel subscriptions.
Great streamers like Ludwig, Ninja, Rubius, TheGrefg, and others have recently held subathons, collecting tens of thousands of subscriptions in both the English and Spanish-speaking communities. IronMouse, a vtuber, completed a subathon and is now the third most subscribed channel, with nearly 172k subscribers.
IronMouse, a Vtuber from Puerto Rico, has been one of the fastest-growing channels in the last year. VTubers are streamers who transmit using a digital avatar rather than showing themselves through a camera, for those who are unfamiliar with the movement.
IronMouse decided to participate in a Subathon, which lasted 31 days and ended on March 7th of this year. The VTuber received a total of 171,818 subscriptions, with an average of 12,500 and peaks of 27,000. Despite the fact that she has been broadcasting on the platform continuously for almost two years, she has amassed an incredible number of Twitch subscribers thanks to her community and the VTuber’s fans.
The figure has become so significant that IronMouse has positioned himself as the third most active Twitch streamer. Ludwig, a streamer who recently migrated to YouTube, is at the top with 283,066 subscribers. Ninja is next with 269,154 subs in 2018, and IronMouse is still on the list with 171,818 subs.
This, combined with the popularity of subathons, demonstrates the importance and relevance of VTubers on the Twitch platform. It’s not impossible that, in the future, one of these niche streamers will overtake Ludwig at the top via a subathon.
