Destiny and Hasan, two popular streamers and political commentators, recently attempted to mend their broken relationship with XQc. Unfortunately for the former Overwatch League pro, his plan didn’t work out as planned, as the two’s reunion was short-lived.

At various points in their streaming careers, Destiny and Hasan have been the faces of Twitch’s political scene. When Hasan first started streaming in March 2018, he quickly teamed up with Twitch veteran Destiny.

For a few months, the two became synonymous with one another. Their friendship was a constant source of content for both communities, whether it was streaming video game content, hosting heated political debates, or even joining up for IRL streams when Destiny moved to Los Angeles but, infamously, the two have split up and are now embroiled in one of Twitch’s longest-running streamer feuds. They haven’t directly interacted with each other in over two years, aside from taking shots at each other on Twitter or on their separate streams.

xQc, who appeared frequently on both streams, took it upon himself to try to bring the once-powerful duo back together. The French-Canadian streamer invited both Destiny and Hasan into a group call in the hopes of sparking a constructive conversation between the two political streamers about the recent Ukraine crisis.

Destiny explained why Hasan would never engage with him while still on the phone with xQc. Despite xQc’s best efforts, the two were never reunited. Despite the fact that this was the closest the two have come to appear on each other’s stream in months, it appears that the gap between Destiny and Hasan will remain unbridged for the time being.
