Popular Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc is settling in quickly to his new life in Los Angeles, admitting to viewers that he’s now working on a major new show that will require a full studio.
xQc has established himself as one of the most popular Twitch streamers of all time. According to the Twitch earnings leak, he has made over $8 million from streaming on the platform since 2019.
All of his popularity and money now appear to be pressuring him to take a risk and maybe go beyond Twitch into the realm of a full-fledged new show.
During a live stream on October 19, the former Overwatch League pro previewed his new endeavor as well as some other major projects he’s been working on since relocating to Los Angeles. While he didn’t go into great detail about the concept, he did say that whatever show he’s working on will take some time to get off the ground, implying that it will have a large budget.
He revealed; “I’m working on a show and it’s going to take some time to produce, but I’m working on it. I had to meet some people to do that.”
When viewers asked about the size of the show, Lengyel shared some further details stating; “Yeah, like a show. I need to get a studio. So I need to get a studio and space and whatnot. And I’ll push to be hosting it.”
Unfortunately, that was all xQc had to say about it, so we’re still in the dark for now, but that’s not all he’s up to in LA.
Lengyel also said that he visited the 100 Thieves compound and appeared on a podcast in addition to his planned performance. It’s unclear whether 100 Thieves is tied in any way to xQc’s upcoming event, but if they are, it could be quite the spectacle and combination.
