Felix “xQc,” a well-known Twitch star and Kick streamer, recently informed his fans that he is no longer dating fellow Overwatch content creator Fran.
The announcement of the split comes almost two months after he initially revealed that the two were dating back in June. Due to Felix’s current legal struggle with his ex-girlfriend Adept, fans have recently taken a strong interest in his relationships. After being criticized by some viewers of not routinely streaming after he announced that he had a new girlfriend, xQc intimated a few days ago that his significant other had not been present for a while. Since the Twitch streamer informed his followers that the couple was not seeing each other, it appears that they had officially broken up.
In response to comments he made a few weeks prior about his girlfriend not being present, xQc stated that he and Fran had not been dating for a while: “That one time I said, like, Fran wasn’t here anymore and I hadn’t talked to Fran about it. So she kind of got caught off-guard. She tried to keep the facade up, but me and her aren’t together for a while now.”
The Just Chatting Streamer of the Year revealed his breakup with Fran around the end of a recent live stream on Twitch. As was previously said, after the contentious split from Adept, fans have developed a deep interest in all of his relationships. As a result, xQc informed his audience that the most recent breakup was mutual: “Things are just not favorable for anything right now. It’s just bad, and, it’s like a mutual thing. It’s a good thing. Everybody’s chill and on board.”
He also said that there were too many “moving elements” right now for a relationship, which is possibly a reference to his ongoing legal battle or the fact that he doesn’t want his streaming commitment to conflict with his personal life. Even further, xQc claimed that he has been emitting negative energy that was hurting everyone around him: “Yeah, there are too many moving pieces and sh*t these days, and it’s too much. I wish things were a lot simpler, but they are not. And I don’t think they will get simpler any time soon and I’m tired of having so much collateral damage or whatever. It just seems like everybody around me is suffering a lot and it makes me feel like I’m radiating something bad right now. I need to give it a reset.”
