Former ECW TV champion and WWE heavyweight champion, hardcore wrestling hero, Rob Van Dam returned to IMPACT Wrestling in 2019 and made an immediate impact when he teamed up with another former ECW legend Sabu. In their highly anticipated debut, the former ECW World Tag Team Champions would defeat The Lucha Bros. Since leaving WWE in 2014, Van Dam has been active in the independent scene. He has already performed for Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore, The ICW, and NWA, among others.
RVD previously competed for IMPACT in early 2010 under the name TNA, where he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the TNA X Division Championship. Katie Forbes, a fighter, joined the company in 2019 and fought alongside RVD in the ring. The two competitors in the ring started talking about their game right away. The constant Forbes interference, hip strikes, and twerking became identified with her ring partner’s opponents, one of whom was a former IMPACT wrestler Sami Callahan. RVD and Forbes collaborated to work for the said company without a contract, and when they did, they came up with a short-term agreement.
Katie Forbes is RVD’s girlfriend’s name. The couple is currently engaged. The Ex-Impact Wrestling Partner couple announced their engagement in early February. Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes are now engaged to be married. The couple has been together since 2016 and debuted in IMPACT Wrestling in a sometimes controversial manner between 2019 and 2020.
Forbes announced their engagement on Twitter and declared herself “MRS VAN DAM,” despite the fact that their wedding date has yet to be set. Even though the company has resumed operations on the site, they have both been banned from Twitch for violating its adult content rules, according to the exclusive NSFW segment. RVD, the Legend of Wrestling, and his girlfriend Katie Forbes have left IMPACT Wrestling to fight. PW Insider’s Mike Johnson was the first to break the news.
