Michael Grzesiek AKA Shroud recently explained why all Valorant players should be picking Reyna right now, claiming that she’s in a “good spot” and more useful in a team than in the past.
Shroud previously expressed his admiration for Reyna. In comparison to other hard-carrying Agents like Jett and that said she “guaranteed consistency.” and it is no surprise then, that he decided to take over a few pubs while she was streaming.
A fan asked if he thinks Reyna is better now than she was in the past. In patch 2.03, she was nerfed in order to reduce her pubstomp potential. He wasn’t sure at first, but soon changed his mind saying that it’s neither better nor worse, in his opinion meaning, that he suppose it depends on the circumstances and that she’s better at times and worse at others.
He was more confident after dominating a few games with her saying that Reyna is in a great position and that she really is good and that they fixed the one person who was dominating and pubstomping, but they improved her team play.
As a result, he thinks she’s a much better choice now than she was before saying that she now appears to be a much better entry because there’s so much you can do and some damage while your teammate takes the frag.
Due to his self-proclaimed obsession with New World, Shroud hasn’t been playing Valorant as much lately. After the insane Valorant plays he’s been pulling off recently, he’ll almost certainly pick Reyna the next time he does.
