Popular YouTube streamer Valkyrae recently began boxing and has already been offered fights in upcoming influencer boxing events.
Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is a well-known broadcaster on the internet. She’s a co-owner of 100 Thieves and has appeared in a few major music videos, with over 3 million YouTube subscribers.
She is, however, about to add another major title to her resume after taking up boxing. After watching Creator Clash this past weekend, in which 18 influencers competed in a boxing ring for charity, the streamer was inspired.
The first-ever women’s influencer boxing match was held at the event, with Twitch streamer JustaMinx triumphing over an opponent, Yodeling Haley.
After witnessing the fist-flying action over the weekend, Rae posted a photo of herself in a boxing gym wearing athletic gear, indicating that she’s ready to begin her own foray into combat sports.
Other influencers and event planners have taken notice quickly. Valkyrae claims she’s already being considered for future boxing bouts just days after announcing her intention to take up the sport.
With iDubbbz confirming that a Creator Clash 2 will undoubtedly take place, fans are eager to see if she will appear on the next fight card in 2023.
OTK, a streaming group, has expressed interest in hosting their own boxing event. Valkyrae has already received challenges from major names like WWE’s Zelina Vega, and there’s no telling when, where, or with whom she’ll make her first boxing debut now that the influencer boxing bug is at an all-time high.
