UnknownxArmy made a name for himself in May 2019 when he became the first controller player to qualify for the first ever Fortnite World Cup at just 15 years old. Since then he has continued to gain acclaim by proving himself to be a hybrid player who is almost equally adept at both keyboard & mouse and controller. Below, we have provided a list of the equipment that is included in UnknownxArmy’s gaming setup uses to keep on top of his game.

UnknownxArmy uses an Alienware 25 AW2518H monitor. UnknownxArmy’s gaming setup includes the same monitor as those of 72hrs, Symfuhny and SypherPK among many others. It offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080pand has a response time of 1ms, as well as a refresh rate of 240Hz. The fresh rate is designed to facilitate extremely fast-paced gaming, but it requires the other PC hardware to have the processing power to actualize its potential.\

Its dimensions are 55.58 x 26.85 x 52.22cm (21.88 x 10.57 x 20.56-inches), and it weighs around 6.61kg (14.57lbs). It has VESA wall-mounting capabilities, and while on tis stand, it can be tilted between -5° to 25°, swiveled at -20° to 20° and pivoted between -90° to 90°, while its viewing angle is at 170°/160°.

UnknownxArmy uses an Xbox Elite Series 1 controller. This wireless controller has a rubberized grip, weighs about 348.14g (12.28oz) and has dimensions of 19.3 x 19.3 x 9.1cm (7.6 x 7.6 x 3.58”). There are four programable paddles on its underside which are default set to the four face buttons. They can be remapped through its software and are also removable. There are also two switches above the paddles that allow the user to adjust the depth of their trigger pulls.

It also comes with a set of 6 thumb sticks, in two concave heights and one set rounded, as well as two sets D-pads, one faceted and one standard. It also comes with a carry case and a USB cable for PC compatibility. It is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S and Windows 10.

UnknownxArmy uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. This is another piece of UnknownxArmy’s gaming setup that mirrors 72hrs’. It utilizes a Hero 3 optical sensor that facilitates a DPI range of between 100 – 16,000Hz that can be set in increments of 50 through the Logitech G Hub software. Furthermore, up to five DPI profiles can be stored directly on the mouse itself, which can then be toggled between via the DPI button on its underside. The sensor can also track at speeds of up to 400ips at a reports rate of up to 1,000Hz@1ms.

It is constructed from plastic and has an ergonomic, ambidextrous design with the option to add up to two macro side buttons on both or either side of the mouse. This brings the potential total number of buttons up to 8 when including the clickers and scroll wheel. Additionally, it has four 100% PTFE feet along with a 1.8m (70.86”) USB charging cable that allows the mouse to be used while it is charging.

It weighs in at 79g (1.8oz) and has dimensions of 3.82 x 62.15 x 11.66cm (1.57 x 2.5 x 4.92”.)

UnknownxArmy uses a SteelSeries QcK 3XL mousepad. The SteelSeries QcK 3XL is a massive cloth-surfaced mousepad that has dimensions of 60.96 x 121.92 x 0.38cm (24 x 48 x 0.15”.) Its border has 2-zone RGB lighting that can be programmed through the SteelSeries Engine software and has a non-slip rubber base.

UnknownxArmy uses a Matrix Elite Series 60% keyboard. The Matrix Elite 60% series of keyboards is available with options of either red, blue or brown Gatreon switches, and UnknownxArmy has opted for brown. These are tactile switches that have an actuation force of 45g, and an actuation point of 2.65g. They are hot-swappable and are set with PBT double shot keycaps. It is constructed with a thin plastic chassis and is also waterproof.

UnknownxArmy uses Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones. The DT 990 Pro headphones come in either black or grey and are constructed from metal, while the earcups are made from plastic. He has opted for the grey version. The earcups are open-backed to provide a stereo sound audio experience. The drivers provide a v-shaped frequency response of between 5 – 35,000Hz with a nominal impedance 250Ohm. The earcups are also padded with velour cushioning, while its headband I padded with a leatherette fabric.

UnknownxArmy generally uses basic Apple earphones, and only uses the DT 990 Pro when he requires greater concentration.
