Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp, a Twitch star streamer, began Season 12 in less than ideal fashion, with a “terrible” start to the new year on Summoner’s Rift.
League Season 12 began on January 7, with a slew of new players and big streamers returning to the game after a two-month ranked hiatus.
Tyler1 began the new season with a 20-hour stream in which he played more than 30 solo queue matches.
Unfortunately for the 26-year-old, he didn’t have much to show for his efforts by the end. Tyler took on a variety of roles during the stream, including AD Carry, mid-lane, and top-lane and none of the roles worked out for him, and he finished his nearly 24-hour broadcast with an 8-24 record.
One viewer asked how the new season was going in the chat room, which irritated Tyler right away. He was still one loss away from his final 8-24 record at the time.
