During a cooking stream gone wrong, a Korean Twitch streamer almost cooked their own camera when it fell from its mounting stand.

Cooking streams have their own category on Twitch and have become a mainstay on the platform. There’s a lot of culinary content to be consumed, from creators having fun to others genuinely trying to cook an edible meal.

One of the best aspects of cooking streams, however, is that they rarely go as planned, especially among less experienced chefs. Twitch streamer kjanecaron, for example, pleaded with her viewers for assistance after nearly burning down her kitchen during a cooking stream gone wrong.

Another blunder occurred when Korean streamer sora629 nearly got her camera into the recipe.

Sora629 positioned her camera high above the countertop on May 31 to provide viewers with a better view of the work area. However, things quickly deteriorated. As she moved further away from the camera, it began to fall silently.

In a series of unfortunate events, the camera dropped into some vegetables below, causing another bowl of sauce to fall off the counter and smash onto the floor.

Panicked, the streamer tried everything she could to keep her cats from licking up the sauce. Meanwhile, the chat was in fits of laughter.

Many people said they could see the whole thing coming from a mile away, but Sora was completely unaware that the camera was falling. Fortunately, the camera didn’t break either, so she can continue with her IRL content – though she’ll make sure to secure the stand next time.
