The discussion podcast “Did Shclatt Win?” hosted by Twitch streamer and YouTuber Jschlatt debates whether cats or dogs make better pets in its inaugural episode.

Jschlatt, a video creator for YouTube and Twitch, had a memorable 2022 that started with a significant return to regular streaming at the close of 2021. Since that time, the streamer has continued to succeed on both platforms for publishing content and through his podcast, Chuckle Sandwich, which he co-hosts with fellow YouTuber Ted Nivison.

Schlatt has now introduced “Did Schlatt Win,” the “angriest, most unimportant debate podcast you’ll ever listen to,” as a new podcast.

On March 8, 2023, Jschlatt announced the podcast on Twitter. The official channel refers to the podcast as “the least important arguments you’ll ever listen to,” which suggests that the debates on it are mostly humorous and lighthearted. The first episode lasts about 30 minutes and features Schlatt discussing fellow Twitch streamer Jack Manifold on whether cats or dogs make better house pets. The video has had over 25,000 views as of this writing, and the channel has already gotten close to 20,000 subscribers. Also, prominent Twitch streamer Hasanabi commented to the announcement tweet, suggesting that other well-known content producers are also interested in Schlatt’s new endeavor.

Schlatt responded to Hasan’s post that said “I will destroy you anytime anyplace. I’ll be in touch soon. I’ve got a bone to pick with you.”

It’s unknown who might appear in next editions of “Did Schlatt Win?” because Jschlatt undoubtedly has other guests and themes planned out in advance. Yet, it is obvious that Hasan would make a fantastic episode given the streamer’s love for live debates.
