Streaming platform Twitch recently added two new global emotes themed around two iconic characters Ryu and Guile from the fighting game franchise.
FamilyMan and RyuChamp will be available across Twitch users until further notice, representing Ryu and Guile respectively. Twitch is also partnering with Capcom for the Summer Update 2021 showcase and exclusively broadcasting on the gaming channel of Twitch rather than the usual dual stream on the YouTube channels and Capcom Fighters Twitch. It also extended the hour-long stream with new behind the scene looks and multiple updates compared to the previous 2021 updates for the game which both lasted for 30 minutes.
The said showcase will likely see an Oro deep dive and include a look at all of his abilities and how hermits implement things such as V-Gauge and V-Trigger. Also, more of Akira and her gameplay will be seen more, and the release date for Oro will be announced for the next update where it will tackle more about the Rival Schools character.
Many fans will be tuning in and getting more details on the revealed DLC characters and getting a glance at the fifth and last DLC fighter for the fifth season of SFV’s content.
