To aid individuals impacted by the earthquakes in Eastern Turkey and Syria, HasanAbi launched a fundraising on February 6. However, some Twitch trolls are doing their utmost to convince streamers that it is a scam.

IShowSpeed was one of the streamers who received troll attacks. He intended to give $50,000 to the fundraiser on February 6 but was persuaded by viewers to his show that HasanAbi was actually keeping the money for himself, which is untrue. Trolls on HasanAbi’s stream were quickly dealt with by him. He said, “These people are so fucking desperate to vilify me. There are literally fucking people under rubble right now… they might not make it over the course of the next 24 hours, and instead of turning around… they [the trolls] went and actively undermine [the efforts to help the victims]. It’s so crazy like this is how far motherfuckers go, they stopped them [IShowSpeed] from donating $50,000.”

According to the trolls on IShowSpeed’s stream, HasanAbi is allegedly raising money to construct a pool at his mansion. HasanAbi expressed his displeasure with their actions, adding that people are trying to raise as much money as they can for organizations in Turkey and Syria that can help save lives. As of this writing, the fundraising effort has amassed more than $600,000, with HasanAbi himself among the top contributors, along with Valkyrae, Jacksepticeye, tarik, Ludwig, and others.

To help the victims of the earthquakes that struck the region on February 6, the money will be sent directly to charities in Turkey and Syria. Vice-President Fuat Oktay claims that at than 5,000 people have died in Turkey as of this moment.
