After being banned from Twitch, political commentator and YouTube streamer Destiny revealed that fellow content creator Trainwreckstv offered him $100,000.
Destiny was one of Twitch’s most controversial figures, as one of the first streamers to delve deeply into political content. Destiny was no stranger to suspensions, as he frequently clashed with some of the platform’s top streamers and even the site itself. However, the 33-year-old streamer’s most recent ban resulted in an indefinite suspension from Twitch, though Destiny has continued to stream on YouTube.
The reason for Destiny’s suspension is unknown. Mrgirl and Nick Fuentes, two users who were indefinitely banned from the platform, were affiliated with the streamer. A possible reason for the streamer’s forced departure was his frequent risky behavior on social media. Whatever the reason, Destiny was generously offered a large sum of money by infamous gambling streamer Trainwreckstv after learning of his ban.
Destiny used to appear on Trainwreck’s podcast, The Scuffed Podcast, where he and the host would have heated arguments on a regular basis. Due to Trainwrecks’ gambling sponsorship, the podcast has been put on hold indefinitely, and Destiny admitted that the two only keep up on a very infrequent basis. Despite this, Trainwrecks surprised Destiny by offering financial assistance.
Destiny’s suspension from Twitch was unexpected, but it appears that he has adjusted well to YouTube without the need for outside assistance.
