Four more teams were eliminated from the Valorant Champions Tour Masters Berlin quarterfinals at the end of Day 8.

Only eight teams qualified for the Playoffs after a week of entertaining group round matches. Only four teams remained after the eighth day, with two sides from each group qualifying for this level.

The VCT Masters Berlin Playoffs kicked off today with a single-elimination format. Four matches were played today, with four teams remaining in the competition after all of them.

The opening match of the day pitted Vision Strikers versus Gambit Esports. The Russians dominated the early stages of the game, winning the opening map on Bind by a score of 13-2.

On Split’s second map, the Korean champs came back stronger and won 13-7. Gambit, on the other hand, won the final map on Icebox to win the series 13-8 and become the first semifinalists.

KRÜ Esports and G2 Esports competed in the second match. In the semifinals, the LATAM champion faces a German squad hoping to join Gambit Esports.

G2 won without a glitch, securing a top-four position in the process. They won the first map on Icebox by a score of 13-9, and the second map on Haven by a score of 13-7.

To advance to the semifinals, 100 Thieves staged another incredible comeback against Acend. The latter seized the series lead after winning the first map on Ascent by a score of 13-9.

100 Thieves, on the other hand, overcame its EMEA opponents Haven and Breeze by scores of 13-8 and 14-12, respectively. The NA team recovered from a 12-7 disadvantage to defeat Breeze 14-12 in one of the Valorant Champions Tour Masters’ most remarkable comebacks.

Sentinels were knocked out of the Valorant Champions Tour Masters Berlin after losing to their North American opponents, which was one of the most unexpected results of the tournament.

In addition, Team Envy defeated Sentinels without a glitch. They won the first map, Haven, with a score of 15-13, and then Split by a score of 13-7.

On September 18th, the last four teams will compete for a chance to advance one step closer to victory. The semifinal schedule is as follows:

• G2 Esports vs. Gambit Esports
