Swagg got his start as a streamer back in 2012, but only did it as a hobby until he was forced to quit basketball during college. He firstly established himself as a YouTube content creator before moving on to livestreaming. The MSI Oculux NXG251R is a 24.5” gaming monitor that offers a maximum resolution of FHD 1920 x 1080p at a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. This is coupled with a 1ms report rate and pixel pitch of 0.2832(H) x 0.2802(V). It is Nvidia G-Sync compatible with helps to decrease screen tearing and stuttering. Both the high refresh rate and this technology require the necessary hardware to function optimally, though.
Other integrated features include its MysticLight backlighting, Less Blue Light and anti-flicker technology. It has a frameless design that allows for overall dimensions of 56.01 x 21.35 x 52.35cm (22.05 x 8.4 x 20.61”). It has a micro-woven cloth surface that is designed to provide pinpoint control for optical mice. This is attached to a non-slip rubber base to eliminate unwanted movement while gaming.

WHAT HEADSET DOES SWAGG USE?

Swagg uses an Astro A40 TR headset.

The ASTRO A40 TR is a wired headset with a closed-backed, over-ear design that provides a Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound audio experience. Its 40m drivers provide a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz at an impedance of 50Ω and a sensitivity of 104dB.

It is constructed from solid plastic and has cloth-covered earcup padding that is leatherette backed to keep the ears cool. The headband is also padded and is attached to the earcups with adjustable metal sliders that cause a pressure of 2.6N. He has switched out the tags with unspecified Hot Pink skins, which may be these ones, although he hasn’t specified.

The microphone features a unidirectional and can be detached and swapped to sit on either side of the device for extra comfort. It is compatible with PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox devices.

Swagg’s gaming setup includes a Blue Yeti microphone. This is a fairly common microphone among streamers and is also found in TSM_Hamlinz’s setup. It is a basic plug-and-play microphone that utilizes three 1.4mm condensers. This allows it to offer a choice of four different polar patterns that can be toggled between with the knob on its base.

It has a 20 – 20,000Hz frequency response range with a nominal impedance of 16Ω and a maximum sound pressure level of 120Ω. It has a side-address and comes with a removable desk-stand. There is a wide variety of color options to choose from and he has gone with silver. It is compatible with PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox devices.

WHAT WEBCAM DOES SWAGG USE?

Swagg uses a Sony Alpha a6400 camera.

The Sony Alpha a6400 is an entry level professional mirrorless camera that is designed for both photography and video recordings. It offers an ISO range of 100 – 32,000 with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p at 60fps. The ISO range is extendable up to 102,400 with a Sony E-mount compatible lens.

It features a 180°-rotatable LCD screen that is useful for content creators who want to record commentaries while on-the-go. All recordings can be directly transferred to mobile devices with either Bluetooth 4.0 or Wi-Fi for social media sharing. It is important to note that it has a battery life that can last between 360 – 410 photos or 125 mins of continuous recording. This would obviously not apply if the camera were to be plugged in while recording.
