summit1g uses Audio Technica ATH-AD900X headphones. The Audio Technica ATH-AD900Xs are lightweight open-back dynamic headphones built on aluminum casing. They come with a regular 3.5 mm gold-plated plug and detachable 6.5 mm connector on a non-detachable wire that are an upgrade of the ATH-AD900 model. The main change is a slighter wider bass-range as well as a high frequency response range of between 5 – 35,000Hz and an impedance of 38 ohms.
They are designed with a self-adjusting headband that some people like and others don’t, as it only really works for people who have the right head-shape. The pads are also thicker and softer than the ATH-900s.
