Professional Gaming
He first started trying to enter pro-esports in 2014 with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) scene, but retired in mid-2019. He then went on to focus on League of Legends (LOL) and to work as an LEC vlogger for Excel Esports. He managed to reach Diamond after six months and was given a substitute position on the team. However, he found it very difficult to really get into the scene.
So, when Valorant released in mid-2020, he decided to focus on it instead, especially as it combined elements of both CS:GO and LOL. He therefore quit his job to go all-in with pursuing Valorant. In August 2020, he and five other aspiring pro-Valorant players met in queues and decided to form (SUMN FC) as a competitive Valorant team in the hopes of attracting an organization. They went on to win several Valorant events, including Lava Series and at epic.LAN.
But, what really got his numbers to grow was when he went viral in China mid-June 2021, after achieving a silver medal at the Masters Reykjavik in Iceland. This was thanks to his humorous on-stage antics and interviews managed to attract the attention of many international viewers. This increased popularity also managed to attract the attention of Fnatic, who signed on the entire SUMN FC roster with him as the captain in February 2021.
