On DariusIRL’s stream, a girl shared bizarre messages from a streamer stalker who claimed to be obsessed with her and to have an everlasting love for her despite never receiving a response.
The young woman, identified as Ellie, displayed the messages to streamer DariusIRL. The messages took a long time to scroll past and had voice notes that lasted for approximately 30 minutes. The messager also sent Ellie incredibly lengthy messages in which she expressed gratitude for “bringing my light back” and apologized for “being an abnormal person” before continuing to message. The messages constantly asked Ellie to call them back, and one of them ended with “last time I promise” before beginning again.
The stalker’s description of his thoughts in the wall of text, which read: “you seem to consume more of me with every hour I am awake. It’s not stopping. I don’t think I want it to.” Another message that promised “I’m not b*tchless and desperate right now” was sent after that, but it did little to reassure the streamers.
Darius was astounded by how long each message was and how devoted the messager was to an unrealized romance as Ellie went through the messages. “He talks to himself for ten minutes straight. I’d fear for my life. Why do you think she didn’t respond, bro? Why do you think she didn’t respond? Oh my lord.”
The words from the streamer stalker caused a lot of concern in the stream’s live chat as well; one viewer called the posts “unironic schizophrenia.”
