Team SoloMid (TSM FTX) announced the departure of Snip3down, in order for him to return to his original title, Halo Infinite, on FaZe Clan‘s Halo Infinite roster.
Eric ‘Snip3down’ Wrona has been a professional FPS player for over a decade at the age of 30. He was a former Halo pro who won over 20 major event wins in the game with well-known teams such as Evil Geniuses and EnVyUs.
Snip3down shifted to Apex Legends before Halo Infinite’s release, where he competed alongside Jordan ‘Reps’ Wolfe and Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen. The trio won a number of events and finished third in the ALGS Championship in June 2021.
Snip3down decided to leave Apex for his former title after the release of Halo Infinite in December 2021 and ahead of the $250,000 HCS Kickoff Major in Raleigh, North Carolina. Before his new organization was revealed, the team announced the news on December 13.
Snip3down confirmed that he “will be switching to Halo Infinite competitively,” as he explained in a video about the announcement. With that decision comes his departure from TSM.
Most fans understand his decision, as Halo Infinite gives him the chance to revisit his previous game. ImperialHal, his TSM (former) teammate, replied with a sweet “til next time, old man” in the responses.
Snip3down has now been officially announced as a member of FaZe Clan’s new lineup, where he’ll be playing Halo.
On the roster, he’ll be joined by Jesse ‘bubu dubu’ Moeller, Adam ‘Bound’ Gray, and Michael ‘Falcated’ Garcia. FaZe will have the opportunity to make an early mark on Halo Infinite with the HCS Kickoff scheduled for December 17-19, 2021.
