Whiterun is one of the most well-known locations in Skyrim. Outside of the classic PC game, dedicated fans have recreated Whiterun Hold’s capital in Minecraft and Valheim, which is certainly helpful. However, a fan has recently added the city to The Sims 4, complete with Dragonsreach and all.

Dr. Gluon, a Twitch streamer, has been working on the build-in between other tasks for the past month. While the Skyrim fan didn’t recreate Whiterun to scale, the general shape and vibe of the town emerged quickly. The Cloud District is perhaps the most well-known, with the imposing Dragonsreach tower looming over the city from its perch atop a hill.

Other neat and recognizable structures from the other districts, such as taverns and the Gildergreen tree in the heart of Whiterun, are also present. A wee Sims man sitting on a throne in Dragonsreach is one of my favorite inclusions from one of Dr. Gluon’s videos.

It’s a pretty relaxing way to spend an evening watching these builds come together. Dr. Gluon’s previous streams can be found here. If you want a quick look at the finished product, there’s a video below with some appropriately epic Skyrim music.

In other news, EA recently released wedding-themed DLC for The Sims 4. There have been numerous bugs, but they are all being addressed.
