After an awkward IRL Waffle House trip, a brave streamer, wearing a fedora and clutching a dakimakura, finds herself the center of attention.

Dr Disrespect getting banned after streaming from a bathroom at E3 2019 to BeesOnMyHeadTV getting nixed after becoming the victim of a carjacking attempt, there’s no telling what could go wrong for out-and-about streamers. There’s no telling what could go wrong for out-and-about streamers. Rather than embracing chaos, Ol_ga embraced it by live-streaming herself with a body pillow on a date, and it quickly became one of the most popular recent posts on the LivestreamFails Reddit page.

Ol_ga can be seen smirking with embarrassment in a Waffle House booth before attempting to feed her body pillow companion in the Twitch video. While wearing a Wolverine t-shirt and a gray fedora, an off-screen employee asks if she’s enjoying the meal, to which she responds with a quick nod and says “it’s really good.” It would be hilarious if this were an ironic cosplay at a convention. It’s arguably more so in a random restaurant in the middle of the night.

Under the title “First Time In Waffle House With My Pillow Husband,” Ol_ga’s Twitch channel has the entire hour-and-a-half affair, and there’s not a second in the video where she doesn’t look positively petrified with embarrassment.

After a server asks if they enjoyed their meal, members of the chat asked her to claim her husband would pay for it, which is perhaps the best moment. Ol_ga hurried back to her car with the pillow slung over her shoulder, talking to it as she went along the way.

The best part is that Ol_ga’s pillow isn’t a generic anime character from a popular series. Not only did this streamer take a body pillow on a Waffle House date, but she also took a body pillow with a self-deprecating joke written on it in bright pink. “I bet he’ll have your forehead, Olga-san,” reads the text in the picture. Even if it is embarrassing, her dedication to the task is admirable.

Ol_ga has since gained a lot of traction among Redditors, and she’s now done a live AMA with her pillow-husband. She can be seen regularly streaming games like Dark Souls and Hollow Knight, but it’s hard to predict what she’ll do next in real life. With the added bonus of a body pillow by her side, she might continue the long-standing streaming tradition of beating Dark Souls with dance pads or Guitar Hero controllers.
