Twitch star Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek revealed what he considers to be the best all-around weapon in the New World, and he highlighted why everybody, regardless of skill level, should use it.
Shroud, like the majority of players who have managed to get into New World servers despite queueing troubles, has been busy grinding levels. He even declined a large streamer kickball event so he could continue playing the game.
People are still attempting to determine which weapon is the most effective. While some believe the Great Axe, Life Staff, Sword and Shield, and the Great Axe are all viable choices, Shroud has something different in mind: the bow.
Shroud considers the bow to be one of the best all-around weapons in the New World. In response to a fan who felt it was poor. Here’s what he stated; “Bow is really good. There’s nothing wrong with the bow at all. It does a lot of damage. It’s got pretty solid mobility, it’s got pretty solid AoE. It’s all-around pretty solid,” He also went on to say that it has good knockback, slows, and single target on top of that.
Due to its versatility, Shroud believes the bow is an excellent weapon choice. However, the verdict on which is the best is still out. But, in the end, it’s all about personal preference. Some players prefer to use a ranged weapon, while others prefer to be right in the middle of the action.
In reality, New World gives you the option of using two weapons. So, if you want to, you can combine a melee weapon and a bow. You get the best of both worlds this way.
