After a toxic Valorant player avoided a match because Hannah Kennedy AKA Bnans, another Twitch streamer, and another woman were in the character select lobby lineup, Michael Grzesiek AKA Shroud was at a loss for words.
The conversation between Shroud and his Valorant stack was going on. Bnans confirmed that he was playing with two females when the player abruptly inquired. The player chose to tap out because he was unimpressed.
The player ignored Shroud’s attempts to reason with him and left right away. He said, still trying to comprehend what had just occurred. When he asked Bnans if that happened frequently in ranked, she responded in the affirmative. Pokimane has previously handled incidents like this and even responded.
Nobody’s name was mentioned by Shroud, but there’s a good chance he was making reference to creators like Andrew Tate, a contentious influencer whose remarks caused him to be blocked on a number of social media sites.
In July, QTCinderella made a remark to that effect. She pleaded with celebrities to stop giving sexist influencers a platform because doing so spreads their ideas and is counterproductive, and Shroud saw the reality of that effect in today’s episode of Valorant.
