Sgares uses a BenQ Zowie XL2546 monitor. The XL2546 is a 24.5″ gaming monitor that is integrated with features specifically intended for use by fps gamers and pro-players. This is why it offers an extremely high refresh rate of 240Hz refresh rate at a 1ms gray-to-gray response time. It is also capable of refreshing at 60, 120, and 144Hz, should you want to switch between PC and gaming devices. It also has technological advancements such as its Proprietary Dynamic Accuracy Technology (DyAc) to prevent blurriness, as well as Black eQualizer to brighten darker scenes to enhance perception. WHAT KEYBOARD DOES SGARES USE?

Sgares uses a HyperX Alloy TKL keyboard. Sgares’ gaming setup includes the HyperX Alloy TKL version that comes with Cherry MX Red switches. These operate at an actuation force of 45G and an actuation point of 2mm for a total travel distance of 4mm. It has full N-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting It is also available as an RGB version with Cherry MX Blue switches. The switches in neither version can be hot-swapped. It is constructed on a solid steel frame and set with UV-coated ABS keycaps. These can be switched out with other keycaps if you’d like.

It also features Red LED backlighting with a few onboard effects and brightness options, as well as further customization through its software. There are also two feet on its underside that can be flipped out for angled typing. However, it should be noted that while the f-keys do offer dual-function multimedia controls, there are no options to set the keyboard with macros. Sgares uses a Rode Procaster microphone. The Rode Procaster is a broadcasting microphone was designed primarily for recording speech. This is why its frequency response range is a bit smaller than usual, at 75 – 18,000Hz, and why its nominal impedance is at 320Ω.

It inputs with an end-address and has a cardioid polar pattern to help focus the input while filtering out unwanted background noise. To further purify the output quality, it also features and internal pop-filter and shock-mounting. This serves to cancel out plosive sounds and interferences from bumps and electric devices respectively. Although it does not require phantom power, it does still connect with an XLR 3-pin plug, so you will need an audio interface or pre-amp to act as an intermediary between it and your recording device.
