Imane Anys aka Pokimane, the most followed female streamer on the platform recently hitting 8 million followers, has recently opened up about a dating experience that she previously had.
Pokimane’s dating life has been one of the topics that her fans and followers are most curious about. She has been linked with some streamers and personalities in the past but none of which she claimed that she has dated. Pokimane also explained that it can be difficult for creators like her to date people who are not related to the industry.
So, during one of her recent live broadcasts, she talked about joining a dating application and the problems that she had on finding the “right profiles.” It was the first time that Pokimane speaks about her dating experience and she explains how it went awry. Pokimane initially talked about a range of issues she was facing when using the dating app in question.
She said that she felt as if she was being judgmental while swiping left and could not decide on the profiles that she liked the most. While pokimane had a lot of trouble, she eventually ended up seeing one profile that she particularly liked as she says that the person is a little bit older than her which she liked and that the person seemed to be in business and tech which she says that it suits her.
Eventually, Pokimane and the guy whose profile she liked started talking, and then the guy asked her on a date. Pokimane said that she felt kinda weird about the situation when the guy started repeatedly texting her after making plans for the date.
But despite this, Pokimane says that she still decided to go out for dinner with the guy. While Pokimane claimed that the guy seemed nice initially, she was surprised when the guy started telling stories about his ex-wife and two kids. Poki explained that she eventually had to stop seeing the guy as it took him “too long to tell her about the kids.” She also talked about the importance of “not being judgmental,” and said that she is at that point in her life where she wouldn’t mind dating someone who has kids.
