Twitch streamer Sanchovies recently issued a new statement following his indefinite ban from the popular streaming platform. Sanchovies, who streams League of Legends on Twitch, received his first-ever ban from the streaming platform. As a result, it appeared that his time away from the platform would be brief. Unfortunately, according to a new statement issued by Sanchovies, it appears that the ban will last longer than anticipated.

Sanchovies revealed more details about his current Twitch ban via his Twitter account this weekend.

In short, he explained that his ban was the result of him jokingly threatening to bomb his internet service provider after experiencing connection problems while streaming. Despite being joking, saying anything like this violated Twitch’s terms of service, resulting in Sanchovies being banned for an unknown amount of time.

In light of the situation, Sanchovies expressed regret for the situation, and his subsequent actions on Twitter asked for a second chance from Twitch’s upper management.

For the time being, it’s unclear what Twitch will do about Sanchovies and his ban. Given how Twitch has handled similar bans in the past, it appears that Sanchovies will be allowed back on the platform at some point. We’ll have to wait and see whether that return happens anytime soon.
