Rockstar Energy, a PepsiCo brand, has announced a partnership with NRG, a gaming and entertainment company.

The two companies said they hope to ‘build connections with players, creators, and fans who are the digital generation’ by working together.

They also announced the launch of Sound Series, a livestream music event that will take place on June 16 at NRG Hot Pockets Castle in Los Angeles and will be streamed via the Twitch platform.

NRG SVP head of partnerships Andrew Bones commented saying that they are thrilled to bring Rockstar Energy and NRG together. With Rockstar Energy as a partner, they will be able to create new and unique experiences for their fans all over the world as gaming culture evolves.

Sound Series, according to a press release, aims to facilitate a new culture clash between gaming and music, in which NRG streamers collaborate with up-and-coming artists.

PepsiCo general manager and chief marketing officer for the energy category, Fabiola Torres, said that being a part of the gaming community has always been a priority for them, and that their partnership with NRG could not come at a better time as they seek new ways to connect with their customers.

They are excited to collaborate with the NRG team to create new experiences for fans all over the world.

During the first installment of Sound Series, Miles will co-host and perform live.
