Twitch streamers Rich Campbell and Maya’s tortilla slap challenge went viral on Reddit and Twitter, sending fans into hysterics.

Since its inception in 2021, the TikTok Tortilla Trend has experienced a significant upsurge. Since then, many famous people have participated in the strange challenge, much to the delight of their fans.

The basic idea is that competitors slap each other in the face with tortillas after filling their mouths with water. The object of the game is to avoid spilling any water due to a hit or excessive laughter.

Rich Campbell and Maya, two prominent Twitch streamers, made the decision to compete against one another. After Maya lost a game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” Rich delivered a punch that had the audience in fits of laughter.

On August 6, Maya joined her friends Rich and fellow Twitch streamer Cyr in the tortilla TikTok craze. Rich spanked Maya with a tortilla after she lost a game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to him. He obviously went a little too hard, though, because the blow caused her glasses to fly off her face and into the distance.

Rich hurried over to give Maya a hug as she struggled to contain her laughter. Then, when she fell to the ground in a fit of hysteria, he was unable to contain his laughter any longer and spit water all over her.

The video quickly gained popularity on social media, garnering 3.1k Reddit likes as of this writing, with many people laughing at Rich’s “immediate “don’t tell mom it’s not that bad” hug.”

On Twitter, a stream viewer, however, claimed the epic blow was all his fault because he suggested the two “fold” the wraps “for more slapping power,” which led to the epic blow.

Maya was obviously shocked by Rich’s strong hit. However, she ultimately had the last laugh because she managed to avoid spilling any water.
