Reverse2K has been streaming since April 2017 but only really started gaining notice over a year later when he placed 56th in the Fortnite Blitz Showdown in August 2018. Finalmouse Air58 mouse

Reverse2K uses a Finalmouse Air58 mouse. Reverse2K’s gaming setup features both the Cherry Blossom Red and Mystic Blue versions of the mouse. It is a limited-edition mouse that was designed in collaboration with Ninja. It was pretty popular when it first came out in late 2018 and can still be found in the setups of StableRonaldo, MasaYoshi and Cizzorz, among others. It is made from a lightweight plastic with a honeycomb-dotted design that comes to 58g (2oz.) Aesthetically, each scroll wheel is hand-inscribed with a unique haiku and the mouse is also printed with Ninja’s signature. It has a symmetrical design, but its side-buttons are located on the right thumb side. It has five programable buttons in total.

It is fitted with a PMW3360 optical sensor. Due to its wired, plug-and-play design, it does not require software. Therefore, its preset DPI options of 400, 800, 1600 or 3200 DPI cannot be change. It also does not contain any lighting. It offers a maximum speed of 250IPS and a maximum acceleration of 50G. It also features 100% PTFE feet. It has dimensions of 12.8 x 6 x 4cm (32.51 x 15.24 x 10.16″.)

Logitech G640

Reverse2K uses a Logitech G640 mousepad. The Logitech G640 is a large-sized gaming mousepad that measures 40 x 0.3 x 46cm (15.75 x 0.12 x 18.11″) and weighs 354.4g (12.5oz.) This weight, as well as its textured rubber underside helps to keep it in place during use. The cloth is designed to provide moderate surface friction so as to optimize mice with low DPI settings. This enables more control when he is performing rapid movements. It is also flexible enough to be easily rolled up for storage while Wardell is on the go.

SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard

Reverse2K uses a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard. Reverse2K’s gaming setup features the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL wired, mechanical keyboard. It stands out from other mechanical keyboards in that it is set with OmniPoint switches. These switches allow Reverse2K to adjust the actuation point anywhere between 0.4 – 3.6mm. These have a polling rate of 1,000Hz at a report rate of 0.7ms. Its chassis is built from 139.26 x 355.44 x 40.44mm (5.48 x 13.99 x 1.60″.) The navigation keys can be set with macro profiles.

Its chassis is built from a series 5000 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame and the switches are topped with removable PVC keycaps. There is also a smart OLED display in the top right corner with which to adjust the media controls, macro settings and RGB light settings. It has dimensions of 139.26 x 355.44 x 40.44mm (5.48 x 13.99 x 1.60″) and is compatible with Windows 7 or later, Mac OSX or later, Xbox, and PlayStation devices.

Bose QuietComfort 20

Reverse2K mainly uses Bose QuietComfort 20 earbuds, but also sometimes has a Logitech G Pro X headset. As Reverse2K prefers the Bose QuietComfort 20 earbuds, we will be focusing on them. They are noise-cancelling earphones with an in-ear fit and come with 3-different sized tips to ensure that everyone can find one that is most comfortable. It has a clothing clip on its 30.5cm (12″) cable to prevent then from falling to the floor accidentally. They were intended for Apple products. They have a frequency response range of 20 – 10,000Hz as well as an inline microphone. They are also integrated with Active EQ and TriPort technology.

They feature Bose’s StayHear tips that are designed for improved in-ear stability and a lasting, comfortable fit. This is also why they come with ear tips in three different sizes. Their inline remote includes controls for aware mode, volume, answer buttons, as well as calling, voice and music functions. They are compatible with MacBook (Unibody and Pro), select mac mobile and audio devices, PS4 and Xbox devices. They can also be used with Windows PC devices, but only as standard earphones and without the inline controls. The noise-cancelling system is battery-powered. Shure SM7B microphone

Reverse2K uses a Shure SM7B microphone. The Shure SM7B is a dynamic microphone that features in the setups of many other prominent streamers as well, including those of  KayPea, CDNThe3rd and Fl0m. It is constructed from sturdy metal for durability. It inputs from an end-address and utilizes a unidirectional polar pattern. It has a frequency response range 50 – 20,000Hz that operates at a nominal impedance of 150Ω and a sensitivity of -59 dBV/Pa.

On its base are two control switches. The one is a high-pass filter switch and the other is a presence boost button. To further improve the overall audio output quality, it has an internal pop-filter to suppress plosive mouth sounds, as well as an internal shock mount to stifle collision noises. It also comes with a removable foam windscreen, a removable close-talk windscreen a switch cover plate and a locking yoke mount. However, does not come with the required XLR cable or audio interface device. The audio interface does not need to provide phantom power.

Sony A6400

Reverse2K uses a Sony Alpha a6400 camera. The Sony a6400 is an entry-level professional camera that is designed with both video recording and image capture in mind. It, therefore, has integrated eye-detection real-time autofocus to minimize blurring during video recordings. It utilizes a 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor with an APS-C Type lens. It can produce resolutions of 1920 x 1080 (60p, 30p, 24p), PAL mode: 1920 x 1080 (50p, 25p.) Its ISO range of 100-32,000 is expandable to 100-102,400 ISO with a Sony E-mount compatible lens. It also offers a variety of frame rates of 1 – 120fps in NTSC mode and a frame rate range of 1 – 100fps for PAL. This camera is capable of continuous shooting for up to 125 minutes, and can also record while plugged in. All recordings can be directly transferred to mobile devices with either Bluetooth 4.0 or Wi-Fi for social media sharing. Furthermore, its autofocus works on 425 phase-detection points.

The LCD screen can be tilted 180°, which is useful for IRL content creators who want to record commentaries while on-the-go. It weighs 403g (14.3oz) and comes with a shoulder strap, body cap and eyepiece cup to protect it during outdoor use.

TC-Helicon GoXLR mixer

Reverse2K uses a TC Helicon GoXLR mixer. The GoXLR is a mixer that is useful for solo recordings. It can connect up to one microphone with either an XLR connector or one TS/TRS/TRRS microphone jack, as well as one headset with a 3.5mm connector. There is no USB input slot, though. It has four channels on the left side of the device, one of which for Mic, Chat, Music and System controls. Each has its own dedicated volume slider and mute button.

The top of the right side offers various sound effect options, as well as the possibility of creating one’s own effects or choosing other effects, through its software. The RGB lighting effects can also be set that way. The bottom section of the right side is divided into two parts. The right has a press-to-mute button for the microphone as well as a bleep button. These serve for on-the-fly damage control. The left side is a voice sampler that can be programmed with on-the-fly effects.
