For the Minecraft community, the loss of excellent streamer Technoblade last month was a very sad time. The American streamer was well-known for both his Minecraft-related content and his affiliation with Dream SMP.

The invite-only Dream SMP server was developed by Minecraft streamers Dream and GeorgeNotFound. Joining the server and playing as a fictionalized version of themselves in the game were numerous Minecraft streamers and other online celebrities who played the game. Furthermore, this game mode featured a plot.

This server was initially created by Dream and GeorgeNotFound as a way to hang out with friends. However, it received more attention after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the globe, and because of this, the game’s creators extended an invitation to more players.

Dream SMP also rose to prominence as the most popular Minecraft web series. The TwitchCon 2022 event was recently held in Amsterdam thanks to the purple video streaming service. To interact with fans, many Twitch streamers attended the event. However, every Minecraft fan could attend a special event at TwitchCon 2022. The members of Dream SMP attended a reunion event.

Some of the Dream SMP members, including TommyInnit, Wilbur Soot, Philza, Tubbo, Jack Manifold, Ranboo, and Nihachu, were invited to attend TwitchCon 2022. Quackity and Karl, two additional members, also made a brief appearance at the event.

The Dream SMP team’s TwitchCon session lasted for almost an hour. These Minecraft streamers discussed their well-known invite-only multiplayer server or how they made it as streamers during their session.

The host asked everyone to discuss the late popular Minecraft streamer Technoblade, who passed away last month after a protracted battle with cancer, after the hour-long discussion. Every member of Dream SMP must have been devastated to learn that Technoblade had joined the group.

Finally, the host asked everyone in attendance to applaud Technoblade. Everyone stood up in respect of the late streamer and applauded as loudly as they could. Dream SMP member Philza even shared his thoughts about Technoblade.

Undoubtedly, the tribute paid to the late Minecraft streamer at TwitchCon 2022 by the audience and the Dream SMP members was a lovely gesture.
