Ray_C is known primarily as a relatively OG Rust streamer, having started in 2015. He made a name for himself for his trolling, sense of humor, and collaborations with streamers such as hJune. However, nowadays, he is more known for his GTA V roll play friendship with the offline.tv crew. Below, we have provided a brief overview of the gear that has been included in Ray_C’s gaming setup to enhance both his production and gameplay quality for his viewers for your interest.

FinalMouse Air58

Ray_C uses a FinalMouse Air58 mouse. He has opted for the Mystic Blue version of the Air58. Its name comes from its being extremely light at just 58g (2oz). FinalMouse cut down on its eight by constructing it with a lightweight plastic chassis with honeycomb holes and omitting lighting features. Another reason why it originally gained so much popularity was due to its being a limited-edition mouse that was designed together with Ninja and has both his signature on the side, as well as a hand-engraved unique haiku that is not found on either of the other mouse in the range. However, new batches are released incrementally. It has two buttons on the right thumb side as well as 100% PTFE feet to help provide more control while gaming. It measures 12.8 x 6 x 4cm (32.51 x 15.24 x 10.16″.)

It has a PMW3360 optical sensor that offers a dpi options of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200. There are no adjustment options. Its polling rate is 500Hz @ 2ms. It operates at a maximum acceleration of 50G and a maximum speed of 250 IPS.

Electro-Voice RE20

Ray_C uses an Electro-Voice RE20 microphone. The Electro-Voice is a large-diaphragm microphone that operates at an end-address and has a cardioid polar pattern. It offers a frequency response range of 45-18,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 150Ω. This is because it is primarily intended for vocal recordings. It is integrated with Electro-Voice’s Variable-D technology that helps to reduce tonal shift effects caused by proximity. It also has an internal wind and blast filter to block out plosive sounds from filtering in. As an added measure, Ray_C bought the bundle that included an Electro-Voice 309A that decreases interference from vibration-induced noises.
