Imane Anys, better known as Pokimane on Twitch, is a staunch supporter of student gamers juggling their Esports careers with their studies. She announced in 2020 that she would be supporting student games by awarding scholarships every year in collaboration with the University of California. Not only that, but she also announced a new scholarship program in November 2021 in collaboration with Intel and the American Video Game League (AVGL).

The scholarship is for a small number of students so that they can at least pay their tuition while pursuing gaming as a career. $10,000 scholarships are available to students who apply through AVGL’s official website. The scholarship is funded by AVGL and the Twitch star herself, which is worth noting.

This time, however, there’s a twist: in addition to the $10,000 scholarship, the ten winners of the @pokimane scholarship will each receive a brand new NZXT PC. The generous sponsor was thanked by AVGL on its official Twitter account. Fans have reacted positively to NZXT’s generous gesture, which is unsurprising.

Pokimane expressed her gratitude to NZXT for their generous support of her noble initiative to help all student gamers. Without a doubt, the initiative is a significant step forward in the direction of a bright Esports future. Even the Twitch star expressed her joy in a comment on the post.

NZXT’s decision to give away free PCs to scholarship students is to be applauded.

Interestingly, when Pokimane first started his noble cause in 2021, other well-known streamers such as AriaSaki, Dr. Disrespect, Valkyrae, and QuarterJade responded to Pokimane’s Twitter post to congratulate and appreciate her. With over 2 billion watch hours reported by Twitch in October 2021, a platform is undoubtedly a powerful tool for all new gamers to begin their ultimate journey in the gaming industry.

Pokimane, it turns out, has given her fans the opportunity to pursue their dreams without having to abandon their studies as a result of this noble initiative.
