Twitch star Imane Anys aka Pokimane shares some of her concerns about the OfflineTV rust server.
Back at the end of 2020, the OfflineTV rust server has become a huge hit to streamers with several biggest streamers including xQc, Pokimane, Valkyrae and more are getting involved.
The initial launch of the OTV and friends Rust server has taken on a few different looks including being split into two, one side focused on RP and the other on PVP and that’s what makes it so popular. Therefore, when the server have returned earlier this July, many streamers have immediately hopped on board, however, it wasn’t long before many split off and went to find other things to do including twitch streamer Sodapoppin who stated that it was not as fun as it is on the first launch of the server because he says that he felt like he couldn’t keep up with the curve.
Recently, the creator of the server BaboAbe announced that the server was going to reboot as they will be adding adding new rules, areas, and much more in a bid to breathe new life into this update. However, Twitch streamer Pokimane thinks it should have been made more exclusive.
During Pokimane’s July 15th live broadcast while playing on the server, she shared some concerns on the server stating; “I did feel kind of bad that OTV didn’t really play on the most recent Rust server. I think we just weren’t prepared to play when it was launched and then once it did launch, I guess, at least for me personally, there were just so many people I didn’t know and I was afraid of just dying to random Rust pros and having a s**t time, it didn’t feel very welcoming. I just didn’t feel very excited to play on it.” Pokimane also noted that with the relaunch, she wanted the server to have fewer people that they didn’t know involved, as that makes some people not want to play.
