Felix Kjellberg aka Pewdiepie and Sean McLoughlin aka Jacksepticeye engaged in a heated game of Ddakji, in which the two slapped each other multiple times.

Pewdiepie invited Jacksepticeye to play the famous traditional game from South Korea, which was popularized internationally thanks to the Netflix hit program Squid Game, in a video posted on his YouTube account.

Pewdiepie shared a video of him and Jacksepticeye playing an intensive game of Ddakji, in which the loser of each round was slapped, on November 4, 2021.

The game gained popularity as a result of the popular Korean drama Squid Game, which is presently available on Netflix. The show follows a group of downtrodden and poor people as they participate in a life-or-death game for a $38.6 million cash prize. They are attracted by a mysterious persona played by Korean star Gong Yoo, who challenges them to a game of Ddakji in order to be selected in the initial pool of candidates for the deadly event.

If the deceived players lose a round in Squid Game’s version of Ddakji, they are slapped. Despite the risk of public humiliation, their precarious financial situation motivates them to participate because they are offered a cash prize if they win. They are eventually lured into the tournament area, where they are promised a larger prize pool if they play similar games.

The “mysterious deadly tournament” section of the Ddakji game was not adopted by Pewdiepie and Jacksepticeye. Instead, they chose the more practical and moral option of slapping one other for each loss.

However, before they began their suspenseful battle, the two learned how to create the very tools they’d be using to play. Felix and Jack were finally able to fold enough squares to start the game after a lot of effort. The video ends with Jacksepticeye emerging as the game’s overall winner, despite the fact that the two were repeatedly hit in the face.
