Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, a Fortnite-obsessed Twitch streamer, has declared that he will never play the game competitively again.
A number of well-known streamers in the community are self-described Fortnite aficionados. Few, however, can compare to Ninja, whose popularity skyrocketed thanks to his battle royale game streams. The blue-haired content creator has had a lot of success in the game with his sharp-shooting skills, and he even has his own skin.
Ninja has stated that he will no longer play Fortnite on a competitive level “ever again” because it is attracting casual players.
On February 13th, Ninja had an outburst during one of his livestreams, declaring that he would never play competitive Fortnite again. He didn’t stop there with his scathing criticism of Fortnite players.
As a result, Ninja announced that he will no longer play competitive Fortnite because it is driving away so many casual players.
Given his love for the game, Ninja is unlikely to give up Fortnite for good. After all, it was the game that the streamer chose to return to Twitch with. Not to mention, in the past, his creator code has helped him earn a large sum of money in a short period of time.
That’s not to say he hasn’t had issues with Fortnite, especially in the aftermath of the sniping scandal.
Ninja might have made the executive decision to call it quits on his competitive Fortnite career for the time being. However, with such a powerful Fortnite voice publicly criticizing the game, Ninja’s words will undoubtedly catch Epic Games’ attention.
