Fortnite players have a plethora of emotes at their disposal to show off to their friends, but Daler Mehndi’s iconic “Tunak Tunak Tun” is one of the best yet.

In Fortnite, Epic Games has introduced a plethora of celebratory pop-culture addons to players all over the world. There is a glorious amount of emotes to purchase if you’re quick enough, whether they’re part of a movie tie-in, a TV show, or resurrected from legendary music videos.

The iconic “Tunak Tunak Tun” dance, made famous by Indian artist Daler Mehndi, is finally joining the party after years of waiting. Players will soon be able to purchase the “Tunak Tunak Tun” emote for a limited time, cementing Mehndi’s place in the Fortnite hall of fame.

Surprisingly, there has been a demand for Mehndi’s song to be included in Fortnite for quite some time. Reddit posts from 2019 were cited by some fans as some of the first requests to see the emote in-game. Before exploding all over social media, reputable Fortnite leaker @ralisdumb discovered the leak. The emote, however, does not yet have a set release date.

However, because the files are ready to be deployed within the game, the “Tunak Tunak Tun” emote will most likely be available in the near future. Since the start of the new season, Fortnite’s latest batch of content has been incredibly diverse. With titles ranging from Spider-Man: No Way Home to Cobra Kai and everything in between, Epic Games is on a roll in bringing famous characters together in video games.
