The CEO of 100 Thieves has responded to critics who have called for Jordan ‘JKap‘ Kaplan to be fired as head coach of the Call of Duty League’s LA Thieves.
Los Angeles Thieves had a bad run of Major 2 qualifier matches, going 0-5 and ending up as the lowest-seeded team in attendance at the Major LAN.
While there have been discussions in the community about why the CDL team is struggling so much and how to fix it, one idea that has been floated is removing JKap from his head coaching position.
While this has been suggested, along with a slew of other potential starting lineup changes, Nade has spoken out against those who believe JKap should be fired.
Nadeshot addressed their issues during a Twitch stream following LA Thieves’ final qualifier match.
It’s clear that Nadeshot still thinks highly of JKap as a coach, and the players haven’t expressed any dissatisfaction with him, so don’t expect to see the two-time world champion leave anytime soon.
Although Nadeshot admitted that “JKap wasn’t the best Search and Destroy player himself,” he did say that the team has discussed the possibility of bringing in a coach for Search and Destroy.
The team has struggled in S&D, but is this the key to bringing the organization the glory it craves?
