Two youtube stars MrBeast and Mark Rober have recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about their TeamSeas project, but it was the host’s description of MrBeast that received the most chuckles.

MrBeast has established himself as YouTube’s most charitable creator, donating millions of dollars to his partners, fans, and other influencers. When he’s not making people hold on to a box for a million dollars or hosting a giant game of hide and seek at an NFL stadium, he’s partnering with charity to assist those in need.

Donaldson and his crew previously established the #TeamTrees campaign, with the goal of raising $20 million to plant 20 million trees. They completed the task just days before the deadline, and now the YouTuber has launched #TeamSeas, which aims to clean up 30 million pounds of trash from the oceans.

The #TeamSeas movement, like TeamTrees, has gotten off to a fast start, raising over $10.5 million in just a few days. MrBeast and fellow YouTuber Mark Rober spoke on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the new campaign, explaining why they got involved and who they’ve persuaded to donate.

While attempting to welcome his guests, Kimmel struggled to find the right words to characterize YouTube’s favorite philanthropist. “MrBeast, you are famous for… you’re kind of a stuntman and not in the traditional sense.”

This attracted the interest of the YouTuber, who was eager to see how the description would turn out. Finally, he was left smiling and laughing as Kimmel recounted how he makes himself “uncomfortable” in order to give away “a lot of money” by completing “insane” chores.

Returning to the charity, the YouTubers were able to secure a $10,000 gift from the late-night host when he purchased two of their campaign hoodies for the bargain price of $5000 each.

Finally, he said that what they were doing was “fantastic” and praised their efforts, which may potentially result in larger donations as a result of their time in the spotlight.
