Mizkif recently claims that in a YouTube video posted today, his close friend and fellow streamer Lacari exposed the Twitch star’s entire Discord server, which has more than 50,000 users, to malicious links. More than 1,000 Mizkif viewers joined a risky Discord server as a result of the con, possibly having their accounts compromised.

The streamer wasn’t aware that he was in danger at the time and didn’t think anything of it, but Lacari claims that three to four months ago, he was duped into joining a malicious Discord server that stole his account information. Last night, for some reason unknown, the hackers made the decision to take over the account of the Twitch content creator.

Following that, the hackers invited a bot to the server that spammed links for a fake Discord Nitro giveaway using Lacari’s account, which had the highest level of admin privileges in Mizkif’s Discord. Mizkif, who was asleep at the time of the hack, was, unfortunately, the only one who could stop the bot.

The bot and Lacari were eventually removed from Mizkif’s Discord server after he was finally awakened by calls from his manager, but not before more than a thousand members of his Discord clicked the spammy link that was being distributed on the server.

As a final caution, Mizkif advised viewers not to interact with the “Welcome” bot that had infected his Discord.
