WHAT MOUSE DOES MENDO USE?

Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse

Mendo uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. The Logitech G Pro is a wireless gaming mouse that is very popular amongst both pro-gamers and streamers. Some of these include LVNDMARK, TSM_Viss and Jankos. It now boasts a Hero 25K optical sensor (older versions had the Hero 3) with a dpi range of 100 – 25,600. This can be set in increments of 50, with the possibility to store up to 6 onboard the mouse itself.

It has a truly ambidextrous design, as it is not only symmetrical, but also had the potential for between 4 – 8 programmable macro buttons to be set on the device. This is because it comes with two set of two side buttons that can be added to both or either side of the mouse. Furthermore, it also accommodates all grip-style preferences and measures 3.82 x 62.15 x 11.66cm (1.57 x 2.5 x 4.92”).

The sensor allows for a maximum acceleration of 40G at a maximum speed of 400 IPS, as well as an adjustable polling rate of 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz and 1,000Hz. This can be done directly on the mouse. Its battery lasts up to 48 hours and can be used while charging. Its weight is at 79g (2.7oz.)

WHAT MOUSEPAD DOES MENDO USE?

Logitech G640 mousepad

Mendo uses a Logitech G640 mousepad. Mendo’s gaming setup features a limited-edition Team Liquid version of the Logitech G640 large cloth gaming mousepad. As it is no longer available, we have listed the regular version here. The regular version has a black cloth surface that causes moderate surface friction so as to provide enough resistance to the mouse feet when starting or stopping a quick movement during low dpi gaming sessions. It is attached to a blue rubberized base that prevents the mousepad from moving during use, as well as preventing the cloth from bunching up and interfering with your mouse’s movement. Its overall dimensions are 40 x 0.3 x 46cm (15.75 x 0.12 x 18.11”.)

WHAT HEADSET DOES MENDO USE?

beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro headphones

Mendo uses beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro headphones. The beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro are a pair of professional, high-end headphones. They are meant for studio production and broadcast purposes, which is why they have such impressive specs. For instance, their Tesla 45mm drivers provide a frequency response range of 5 – 40,000Hz, which is double the usual 20- 20,000Hz that are found in gaming headsets. This, combined with their open-backed earcups, creates a clear, spatial stereo effect across all ranges. They operate at a nominal impedance of 250Ω and have a sensitivity of 102 dB SPL.

They have a sturdy construction of titanium-coated acoustic fabric and carefully selected precision-woven textiles that re attached to aluminum end pieces and earcups. The earcups are cushioned with velour-covered padding which are soft enough to provide comfort for glasses-wearers. Furthermore, almost every part is replaceable. Their weight is 370g (9.52oz).

WHAT MICROPHONE DOES MENDO USE?

Shure SM7B microphone

Mendo uses a Shure SM7B microphone. Mendo’s gaming setup includes another highly popular piece of equipment, namely the Shure SM7B microphone. It is a dynamic, cardioid microphone that operates at and end-address, which helps the user to focus their input and to ensure that no unwanted background noises filter into the recordings. Similarly, there is an internal pop-filter to guard against plosive noises, an internal shock mount to prevent negative inputs from bumps and an external windshield to further block out unwanted noises. There is also a high-pass filter switch and presence boost button at its base, which are usually concealed by its cover plate.

It offers a frequency response range of 50 – 20,000Hz at an impedance of 150Ω and a sensitivity of -59 dBV/Pa. Additionally, although it requires an XLR cable and audio interface (not included) it does not need phantom power.

WHAT WEBCAM DOES MENDO USE?

Sony a5100 camera

Mendo uses a Sony a5100 camera. The Sony a5100 is a mirrorless camera with a compact, yet solid build. Its Exmor CMOS 24mp sensor can shoot at 6fps and offers an ISO range of 100 – 25000. However, one of its most impressive features is its 179 autofocus points that allow for rapid tracking of a subject during high-speed recordings.

It also has a flip-up 3” LCD screen that is useful for selfies and IRL vlogging purposes. All of these qualities make it good for casual use and as an entry-level hobby camera for shooting still images or recording slower-paced live recordings. However, despite being one of Sony’s older models, it still costs over $450 USD new, so you might want to consider going with a more basic webcam, if you are just starting out as gaming streamer.
