Maximilian_DOOD uses a Sony a7 III camera with a Sony SEL2470GM FE 24- 70mm lens. He has gone all-out with this combination, as together they come out at over $4,000 USD. This is unsurprising given that the Sony a7 III alone offers an ISO range of 100 – 51,200 that can be expanded to 50 – 2,048,07. Its lens has 4D autofocus as well a 24.2MP CSI full-frame image sensor which can process data at up to 1.8x the regular speed. This mirrorless camera also features built-in 5-stop image shake reduction, as well as image stabilization and a 15-stop dynamic range.

It has a battery life of up to 200mins of continuous shooting, which would necessitate purchasing extra batteries for lengthy out-door shoots. These features alone, without taking the lens’ capabilities into account are arguably far beyond the  requirements of a basic steam, as there are many top streamers who are happy to stick with a basic webcam even though they can definitely afford a professional camera they wanted.
