Ludwig Ahgren was forced into having a Twitch logo tattoo following Valkyrae’s significant $15,000 gift during his most recent “subathon.” Now that the YouTube sensation survived, it will always be remembered in history—both on stream and on his body.
On the advice of his top four donors, Ludwig made a tattoo pledge during a charity stream. A fellow YouTube gaming sensation named Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter was one of the top donors, contributing $15,000 to the deserving cause. Given their streaming allegiances, she initially thought of making him get the YouTube logo, but she soon switched to the Twitch logo. Three other choices were included in Ludwig’s poll: “Coots,” “cracker,” and “Jerma Sus Face.” His cat, Coots, whose name is also on the tattoo, goes by that name.
Ludwig’s Twitch logo tattoo was cemented into place following Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s meddling, in which he urged his viewers to cast a vote for the Twitch logo. Ludwig posted an update on the procedure with the caption “PLEASE DONT SUE ME SUSAN” on his YouTube channel.
The permanent tattoo’s stencil, which serves as a rough sketch before the complete coloring is applied, was later released by the artist on Twitter. In the distance, on the music stand, is the final colored-in tattoo. He said in the post, referencing YouTube boss Susan Wojcicki; “Getting the enemy tattooed on me live right now… don’t fire me, Susan.”
Hasan ‘Hasanabi’ Piker, a well-known content creator, reacted to the Twitter post by writing, “Greatest 10k of my life.” Even though Ludwig may no longer be active on Twitch, the platform is now permanently engraved on his flesh, lasting not just the remainder of his days as a content creator but also all of time.
