The LCK Summer Split in 2022 will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch, according to the South Korean league.
The competition will be broadcast on the LCK Global YouTube channel and the global Twitch channel. Kwangdong Freecs will face Hanwha Life Esports in the first match of the Summer Split tomorrow at 3 a.m. CT.
This news comes on the heels of the LCK partnering with OP.GG, is a popular League stats website that has been rapidly growing in recent months. It’s unclear what the partnership will entail, but with the LCK broadcasting on YouTube, more stats-based content for fans could be on the way.
OP.GG also acquired former LCK broadcaster OGN earlier this month, indicating that the league will undergo changes.
These announcements should please international fans because it means they’ll be able to discover more content geared toward a wider audience during the Summer Split.
